Stay Prepared: Farm Fire Updates in Yavapai County, Arizona

As the Farm Fire continues to blaze about 30 miles north of Congress since Aug. 8, the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management urges everyone in the surrounding area to be prepared to leave at a moment’s notice. The fire has burned 40 acres and is currently 0% contained.

Latest Updates

The state is collaborating with multiple fire districts and deploying overhead and hand crews to combat the flames.

Evacuation Information

The following communities are under evacuation orders:

  • “GO” order: Evacuate immediately
  • “SET” order: Prepare for possible evacuation
  • “READY” order: Be aware of nearby fire danger

Road Closures

At the moment, no roadways have been closed due to the Farm Fire.
