Tragedy struck in north Phoenix on Thursday, as a fatal traffic collision claimed the life of one individual near the intersection of 35th and Peoria avenues.

Reported shortly after noon, Phoenix police detailed that the collision involved two vehicles, with one of the cars veering off the roadway and striking multiple pedestrians.

Unfortunately, the accident resulted in the death of one adult at the scene, while another individual sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was rushed to an area hospital.
