The Freeman Fire, previously known as the Wash Fire, has been raging across 26,000 acres, as reported by the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management.

- The Freeman Fire remained active throughout the night, impeding some suppression efforts due to safety concerns.
- A sudden wind shift on Thursday night led to increased fire behavior, forcing the evacuation of Willow Spring Ranch.
- The fire expanded southeast and is currently posing a threat to infrastructure.
- Originating from two lightning strikes, the fire resulted from the merger of two separate fires.

No communities are under “GO” evacuations at present. However, the following areas are under “SET” orders and are advised to prepare for potential evacuation:
