Free Medical Appointments Offered for Uninsured Children in the Valley by Banner Health
Are you a parent of an uninsured child in the Valley and concerned about their health care needs? Banner Health has got you covered! They are now offering free medical appointments at their community clinics for uninsured juveniles living in the area.
According to the healthcare provider, patients under 18 can book these free appointments to receive a variety of services including eye and ear exams, sports physicals, COVID tests, general sick visits, health education, vaccines, and referrals to specialty care.
In addition to the community clinics, Banner’s traveling Healthmobile is also providing medical care for children from uninsured and under-insured families around the Valley. More details about the times and locations can be found here.
Lynne Martin, the director of Banner Children’s community clinics, expressed, “By providing no-cost medical appointments at the community clinics and the mobile unit, we hope to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of Arizona’s uninsured children.”
Families interested in availing these free services can call 480-412-6344 to see if their child qualifies. Banner’s clinics are open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
