Park rangers discovered a body at Lake Mead on Wednesday afternoon, and efforts are underway to identify the individual.
According to preliminary reports, the body was found around 3:40 p.m. by park rangers north of Boulder Harbor.
An autopsy by the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office is currently being conducted to determine the person’s identity and cause of death.
Lake Mead officials have not released any further details about the individual at this time.
