Phoenix Police Search for Suspect in Park Shooting
The woman is in critical condition, officials said. Here’s what we know:
PHOENIX — Phoenix police are on the lookout for the suspect who shot a woman in central Phoenix’s Palma Park and fled the scene.
Authorities responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting near 12th Street and Dunlap Avenue just before 8:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a woman with a gunshot wound who was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
The suspect had already fled the scene before the arrival of the police.
Detectives are now taking over the investigation at the scene.
