The Sad Demise of Denise Prudhomme at Wells Fargo Office in Tempe
Authorities have identified the woman found dead at her desk in the Wells Fargo corporate office in Tempe as 60-year-old Denise Prudhomme.
An investigation is underway in Tempe after a Wells Fargo employee tragically died while on the job. According to a new timeline released by the police, her body remained undiscovered for four days.
Expressing concern, a worker said, “What if I were in her place? Would anyone have checked on me?”
A fellow employee, speaking anonymously, described the situation as deeply troubling, stating, “To hear she was sitting at the desk like that would make anyone feel sick. And nobody did anything. That’s how she spent her last moments.”
According to Tempe police, Prudhomme checked into work on August 16, and her body was discovered on August 20. The incident has left employees at the office shaken.
While there is no suspicion of foul play, details about the circumstances of her death remain scarce. Employees have expressed frustration over the lack of information provided by the bank.
In a statement to 12News, a Wells Fargo spokesperson expressed deep sadness over the loss and assured cooperation with the police investigation.
Calling for more transparency, an employee said, “I feel they are not being upfront with us, and someone needs to address this. My condolences go out to the family. I can’t help but think about my loved ones and what if this happened to them.”
Despite initial investigations showing no signs of foul play, the cause of death is yet to be determined by the medical examiner.
