Breaking News: A person was hospitalized due to burns after an apartment fire at a Mesa complex near Main Street and Gilbert Road. The Mesa City Fire Department responded quickly to the scene and found two victims, one with severe burns.

First responders worked diligently to stabilize the burn victim and rushed them to the hospital for immediate medical attention. The second victim reported suffering from smoke inhalation, but did not require hospitalization.

The fire was contained to one apartment unit and extinguished promptly by the fire crews. Fortunately, no firefighters were injured during the incident, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
