Arizona Mills Mall Shooting: No Arrests Made One Week Later
The Arizona Mills mall in Tempe was the scene of a shooting on the evening of Sep. 13. The incident occurred when two large groups of people got into an argument, according to police reports.
Despite the passage of a week since the shooting, the Tempe Police Department has not made any arrests in connection with the incident. They held a news conference on Sep. 19 to provide updates on the situation.
During the news conference, Police Sergeant and Public Information Officer Ryan Cook expressed gratitude that no one was injured in the shooting. He described it as “miraculous” that there were no casualties.
It was reported that the argument that led to the shooting took place in the food court area of the mall. Luckily, no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
Tempe police have appealed to the public for assistance in identifying the suspects involved. They have not disclosed the number of suspects they are looking for and have urged anyone with information or media from the incident to come forward.
Witnesses who were at the Arizona Mills mall on Sep. 13 between 7 and 8 p.m. are encouraged to share any photos, videos, or information they may have with the police department.
