TEMPE, Ariz. — Tempe’s tattoo scene is about to get a whole lot more exciting as Living Canvas Tattoos, the oldest tattoo shop in the city, prepares to celebrate its 31st anniversary. The shop is not only marking this milestone with a special event but will also be honored by the city of Tempe.
Mayor Corey Woods will officially declare September 27 as Living Canvas Tattoos Day and will even join in on the celebration by getting a tattoo himself. It’s not every day you see a mayor getting inked, but Mayor Woods is showing his support for the shop’s legacy as the oldest single-owner tattoo shop in Arizona.
