Exciting Changes Coming to St. Louis Favorite Taco Joint

Get ready, St. Louis taco lovers – big changes are on the horizon for Mission Taco Joint! The popular West Coast-style taco restaurant chain announced on Monday that it will be transitioning to a new name, Session Taco.

This decision comes after a recent trademark dispute with Gruma Corp., the makers of the Mission brand of tortillas, chips, and other products. Despite the setback, co-owner Adam Tilford remains optimistic about the future of the restaurant. “We’ve built a strong brand over the past decade, and while the name change is unexpected, we’re excited for this new chapter,” Tilford said in a statement.

With locations across St. Louis, Mission Taco Joint has become a local favorite known for its delicious tacos and vibrant atmosphere. As they rebrand to Session Taco, customers can expect the same great food and service they’ve come to love, with a fresh new name to match.

For more on this exciting announcement, check out the full story from the St. Louis Business Journal. Stay tuned for updates on when you can expect to see Session Taco on the doors of your favorite taco spot!
