Suspect Wanted in Hit-and-Run Incident in Surprise, Arizona
The suspect’s vehicle should have sustained front-end damage from the crash.
The Surprise Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a motorist who struck and injured a 12-year-old boy on Thursday evening before fleeing the scene.
The incident took place around 6 p.m. on Aug. 22 near 175th Avenue and West Paradise Lane in Surprise. The young boy, riding a bicycle, was hit by a vehicle, resulting in significant injuries.
Authorities describe the suspect’s car as a dark gray Toyota Camry, possibly manufactured after 2018. The vehicle is expected to be missing its front-right passenger mirror and show front-end damage from the collision.
