Search Underway for Missing Swimmer at Lake Pleasant in Peoria
Authorities are currently conducting search and recovery operations for a missing swimmer who went under the water at Lake Pleasant, as reported by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident took place near S Park Road and Sunset Ridge Road in Peoria, where the man failed to resurface after going under the water east of the 10-lane boat ramp. Reports indicate he was approximately 20-25 feet from the shore at the time.
