London, UK – Brian May, the iconic lead guitarist of the legendary British rock band Queen, recently opened up about his health scare. In a video shared on his website, May revealed that he had experienced a minor stroke, which temporarily affected his arm.

The 77-year-old musician reassured fans that he was doing okay but had been advised to avoid activities that could increase his heart rate. Despite the frightening experience, May remained positive and even shared that he “can play guitar after the events of the last few days.”

May expressed gratitude for the exceptional care he received from his local hospital in Surrey, southwest of London. He described the experience as “a little scary” but emphasized the importance of receiving timely medical attention.

He also shared that he and Roger Taylor, the drummer of Queen, are still actively performing, carrying on the band’s legacy after the passing of frontman Freddie Mercury in 1991.
