According to the Phoenix Police Department, an alleged intruder has been arrested after being shot by a homeowner who claimed the intruder assaulted him on his property.
Police were informed of the incident around 4 a.m. and responded to the scene at the mentioned address.
The homeowner reported shooting the intruder after he intruded into his yard. Additionally, the homeowner stated that he was physically assaulted by the intruder when he confronted him.
Following the shooting, the suspect attempted to flee the scene but was later apprehended by officers who had established a perimeter around the area.
