The Phoenix Police Department had a busy morning assisting the FBI in an operation near Interstate 17 and Bethany Home Road. The raid targeted individuals associated with a Phoenix motel and resulted in criminal charges being filed, according to the United States Attorney for the District of Arizona.

U.S. Attorney Gary M. Restaino, alongside officials from the FBI and Phoenix Police Department, will hold a news conference later today to announce charges against the individuals involved. The raid also led to the seizure and closure of the Royal Inn due to violations of the federal Travel Act and money laundering offenses.

The Phoenix Police Department played a crucial role in assisting the FBI during the operation at the hotel near Interstate 17 and Bethany Home Road. Further details about the raid were not disclosed at this time.
