Phoenix Police Employee Arrested for Child Exploitation
A shocking case has emerged in Phoenix as a Phoenix Police Department employee, Daniel Rojas, has been terminated and arrested on six counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. The allegations came to light after a cyber tip from the National Center For Missing and Exploited Children led to a months-long investigation by Scottsdale police resulting in Rojas’ arrest.
Phoenix Police Department reacted swiftly to the gravity of the situation, terminating Rojas’ employment as soon as the allegations were confirmed. The police department had been aware of potential criminal activities involving Rojas since April, and he was placed on administrative leave in May. The investigation into Rojas by Phoenix police is still ongoing.
