Imagine a place where 100 beds are available to help people in need transition to a new life. This is just a glimpse of what the new transition center in Phoenix has to offer.

Opening its doors to those experiencing homelessness, a nonprofit organization, St. Vincent de Paul, is providing support to vulnerable individuals to help them get back on their feet and off the streets.

With the success of Ozanam Manor, a program that offers transitional housing to veterans, seniors, and people with disabilities, St. Vincent de Paul has launched a new project: De Paul Manor.

Located at 310 W Watkins Rd., De Paul Manor has been in development for a year and is designed to assist individuals in reintegrating into the community and leaving homelessness behind.

Featuring six dormitories (two for women and four for men), a total of 100 beds, bathrooms, showers, eight common areas, activity rooms, computer stations, laundry facilities, and two telehealth offices, the center aims to provide comprehensive support to its residents.

Professional social workers will be available to guide and support the residents through their transition to permanent housing, ensuring they have the resources they need to succeed.

The first three residents have already moved in, with Christopher Scott expressing his gratitude for the opportunity to address his health issues and start a new chapter in his life at De Paul Manor.

This center not only provides a safe and secure environment but also offers residents access to food and resources to help them transition to independent living outside of homelessness.

Community involvement is crucial, and St. Vincent de Paul encourages individuals to volunteer at the center or one of their 15 programs to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those in need.

Funded by the City of Phoenix, Maricopa County, and the state government, as well as community donations, De Paul Manor is a testament to the power of collaboration in creating positive change.

Join us in supporting those most in need and be part of a community that cares. Visit St. Vincent de Paul’s website to learn more about volunteer opportunities and how you can make a difference today.
