Former NFL power running back Eddie Lacy was arrested in Scottsdale on Monday for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, the police reported.
The football player was detained following a traffic stop near Scottsdale and Bell Road after police received a report of a possible intoxicated driver in the area.
After a search of the area by the police, Lacy was arrested for alleged DUI (driving under the influence) and possession of an open container of a beverage inside a vehicle, according to the police.
Lacy, 34, had played for the Seattle Seahawks and the Green Bay Packers during his NFL career.
