On August 15, a 911 caller reported a woman driving erratically in Mesa, raising concerns about a potential accident. Acting swiftly, a sergeant from the Mesa Police Department located the woman’s car and pulled her over. However, the situation took a dangerous turn when the woman attempted to drive off into oncoming traffic.
Using his patrol vehicle, the sergeant managed to block the woman’s car and bring it to a safe stop. Upon approaching the vehicle, it became evident that the woman was experiencing a stroke, rendering her unable to respond.
The woman was promptly rushed to the hospital for medical attention, highlighting the critical role played by law enforcement officers in emergency situations.
