The defendant sentenced to 25 years for sexual assault and burglary in Tempe
Last year, a series of horrifying incidents shook the peaceful town of Tempe, Arizona, where women woke up to find a trespasser in their homes. The culprit behind these terrifying acts, Djimon Boggs, aged 25, has been sentenced to 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to sexual assault, attempted sexual assault, and burglary.
Tempe police arrested Boggs last October following multiple reports of him sneaking into homes and threatening women. In some instances, the women managed to scare him off by screaming for help, but in one encounter, Boggs used a gun to assault his victim.
As part of his sentence, Boggs will be required to register as a sex offender, ensuring the safety of the community.
