Tragedy struck in Glendale, Arizona when a person was found in a canal near 51st Avenue and Cactus Road. The latest details reveal a heartbreaking outcome.

The Glendale Police Department responded to a call reporting a person drifting in the canal. The caller suspected that the individual may have fallen into the water and was potentially in distress.

Quick to act, officers rushed to the scene, successfully retrieving the individual from the canal. Despite their efforts to revive the person with CPR, the individual tragically succumbed to the incident after being transported to a nearby hospital.

As the authorities continue their investigation and work to notify the victim’s family, the identity of the deceased remains undisclosed.
