Welcome to our blog!

Today we have a shocking story to share with you. The Glendale police found the body of a mother in an apartment near 43rd Avenue and Bethany Home Road.

Alejandro Gonzalez, a 25-year-old man, was arrested for allegedly killing his mother after she was found decapitated inside the family apartment on Friday, as court records show.

Police officers conducted a welfare check at an apartment near 43rd Avenue and Bethany Home Road and discovered blood throughout the residence, leading to Gonzalez’s arrest on September 28.

Family members told Glendale police that the mother’s birthday was on Saturday, but she did not show up for the family celebration. They believed Gonzalez was living with his mother in the apartment.

When Gonzalez was apprehended, he had what appeared to be dried blood on his legs and socks. He claimed to authorities that he had smoked drugs with an unidentified man he had met in the neighborhood.

The suspect alleged that this man began stabbing his mother, and Gonzalez also began harming the woman with a knife, according to the records. However, Glendale police stated that they found no evidence suggesting that anyone else was involved in the mother’s death.

Gonzalez faces charges of murder and robbery in connection to this gruesome incident.
