SURPRISE, Ariz. — Two people are dead following a shooting in Surprise, the city’s police department said.
Surprise police officers responded to a business near Bell Road and State Route 303 for reports of a gunshot around 5 a.m. When officers arrived, they found two people near a vehicle with gunshot wounds.
Both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.
There are no outstanding suspects according to Surprise police, and there is no threat to the surrounding area.
Detectives will remain at the scene for several hours, but there will be no traffic restrictions.
