Gilbert Police called to respond to drowning incident

Welcome to Gilbert, Arizona

Gilbert, Arizona — A woman was rushed to the hospital after the Gilbert Police Department responded to a drowning incident.

The incident occurred at Market Street and Greenfield Road in Gilbert around 4 a.m. on Monday when Gilbert police received a call for a drowning emergency.

Upon arrival, police and Gilbert Fire Department initiated CPR efforts on the woman before transferring her to the hospital.
