Tragic Fatal Crash Reported in Gilbert
GILBERT, Ariz. — Tragedy struck in the East Valley on Friday afternoon as a single-vehicle crash resulted in one fatality. The Gilbert Police Department reported the incident near the Loop 202 freeway.
The vehicle crashed around 3:15 p.m. at the intersection of Williams Field Road and Santan Village Parkway. The driver sustained fatal injuries, and police are currently investigating the scene. Traffic may be impacted in the area as a result.
