Freddie Crittenden’s journey from Phoenix to Paris has become a reality as he secured his spot on Team USA for the upcoming Olympic Games after an impressive performance at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials in Eugene, Oregon.

Hailing originally from Utica, Michigan, Crittenden represented the Phoenix Track Club and clinched his first-ever Olympic berth by finishing second in the men’s 110m hurdles final with a personal best time of 12.93 seconds, just narrowly behind Grant Holloway, the reigning Olympic silver medalist.

Having excelled in college at Syracuse, where he earned multiple All-American honors, Crittenden’s dedication and hard work have now paid off as he prepares to compete on the biggest stage in sports.

His family is rallying support to join him in Paris, and you can contribute to their cause here.

Training with the Phoenix Track Club at Grand Canyon University, Crittenden has shown remarkable improvement, surpassing his previous personal best and season-best times in the lead-up to the Trials.

The men’s 110m hurdles event at the Paris Olympics will kick off on August 4, with the finals scheduled for August 8 at the iconic Stade de France in Saint-Denis.
