Phoenix Woman and Pets Rescued from Business Fire
A dramatic rescue took place in Phoenix as firefighters saved a woman and multiple pets from a blazing fire inside a local business.
The fire broke out around 3:23 a.m. near the intersection of Bethany Home Road and Interstate 17, and the cause is currently under investigation by city fire officials.
12News reporter Troy Lynch spoke with the woman, who revealed that she was the owner of the store and had been residing inside when the fire started.
Although firefighters managed to contain the blaze before it spread to neighboring establishments, the store itself suffered extensive damage and is considered a total loss.
Firefighters heroically rescued five dogs and numerous birds from inside the burning building, ensuring the safety of all living creatures present.
