Tragic Crash in Central Phoenix Claims One Life

Early Saturday morning, tragedy struck in central Phoenix as a person lost their life in a fatal crash, according to the city’s police department.

Phoenix police responded to a crash near 40th and Oak streets around 1:45 a.m., where they discovered a man with severe injuries lying on the road.

Despite efforts to save the man, he succumbed to his injuries after being transported to the hospital by the fire department.

Authorities revealed that the vehicle responsible for the accident fled the scene following the incident.
