Don’t forget, with Labor Day weekend on the horizon, it’s also an excellent time to shop for big-ticket items like appliances, mattresses, outdoor equipment, and grills. Plus, keep an eye out for deals on sporting goods, TVs, and other electronics.

As retailers make room for fall and winter inventory, you can expect to see steep discounts on summer clothing and clearance items. Some stores may even offer additional coupons on top of clearance prices.

While Labor Day deals are fantastic, experts suggest that the best time to score deals on beauty and pet products is around the Thanksgiving holiday.
