Driving recklessly can have serious consequences, as one man in Phoenix discovered early Tuesday morning when he crashed his car into an apartment complex around 1 a.m.
Witnesses told Phoenix police that the man was “burning rubber” on the street near 27th and Glendale avenues before crashing into a nearby building.
Emergency responders took the man to the hospital as a precaution while officers conducted their investigation. The team from 12News was on site and observed one of the damaged units where the vehicle had crashed.
The police did not release the suspect’s identity or the charges he might face. It is unclear whether the man was intoxicated at the time of the incident.
