Child Rushed to Hospital After Being Pulled from Pool in Phoenix
A terrifying incident unfolded in Phoenix as a child was rushed to the hospital after being pulled from a backyard pool. The family’s quick actions and the response of first responders could make all the difference in this developing story.
First responders received a call just after 7 p.m. reporting an injured child in a neighborhood near 91st Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road. According to the Phoenix Police Department, a family member had pulled the child out of the pool, who was unresponsive at the time.
Fortunately, the family was performing CPR on the child when fire department officials arrived on the scene. The child was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital in “extremely critical condition,” as stated by Phoenix fire officials. The child, a 6-year-old, is currently fighting for their life.
