Welcome to the Friday Night Fever Sweet Play of the Week!
Exciting news for high school football fans! Three more plays have been nominated to become the Sweet Play of the Week and potentially win a $5,000 scholarship. Watch the plays below and don’t forget to cast your vote for the best one!
Every week on Friday Night Fever, we showcase the top three plays from high school football games, known as “Sweet Plays”. It’s then up to you to visit 12News.com/Fever and vote for your favorite play to be crowned the Sweet Play of the Week!
At the end of the season, all the weekly winners will compete for a chance to win a $5,000 scholarship, thanks to Sweet James Accident Attorneys. Make sure to check out which plays have already been chosen as Sweet Plays of the Week so far.

- 65-yard pick six by Mesa’s Griffin Yamamoto
- Blocked field goal returned for a 90-yard touchdown by Benjamin Franklin’s Talan Speir
- 66-yard touchdown run by Brophy’s Case Vanden Bosch
