Welcome Back to Friday Night Fever!
After nine long months, Friday Night Fever, Arizona’s top high school football show, is back for Week 1! And with its return comes the exciting Game of the Week poll, where you, the fans, get to choose the highlight of the night!
Three standout games are up for nomination in Week 1, and it’s up to you to decide which matchup will earn the title of Game of the Week.
Liberty at Desert Edge
The first game on the list features the defending Open Division champions, Liberty Lions, facing off against the Desert Edge Scorpions. Both teams are entering the new season with significant changes, making this matchup even more intriguing.
Brophy Prep at Williams Field
In Game 2, Brophy Prep will take on Williams Field in a highly anticipated 6A showdown. Brophy is looking to make a statement this season after falling short in the playoffs last year, while Williams Field aims to play spoiler in their opening game.
Red Mountain at Mesa
Game 3 brings us a crosstown rivalry between the Mesa Jackrabbits and the Red Mountain Mountain Lions. Red Mountain is seeking redemption after a challenging 2023 season, while Mesa looks to continue their recent playoff success.
