The Rise of Kyler Murray: FedEx Air NFL Player of the Week
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray is on a winning streak, both on and off the field. After an outstanding performance against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 2, Murray has been named the FedEx Air NFL Player of the Week.
During the game, Murray achieved a perfect 158.3 passer rating, throwing for 266 yards and three touchdowns. He also showcased his agility by rushing for 59 yards on five carries. This remarkable performance earned him a spot in Cardinals history alongside Kurt Warner as the only players to finish a game with a “perfect” passer rating.
As part of winning the award, FedEx will be making a $2,000 donation in Murray’s name to Historically Black Colleges and Universities in partnership with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund.
Looking ahead, the Cardinals will face the Detroit Lions in their next game at home with kick-off scheduled for 1:25 p.m.
