Two Children Hospitalized After Car Crash in Maricopa County
It was a frightening morning in Maricopa County, Arizona, as a car crash near Perryville and Yuma roads left two children hospitalized. The crash resulted in one of the vehicles involved being sent into a canal, according to officials from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred just after 7 a.m., and the cause of the crash is still under investigation. Fortunately, everyone involved in the accident was able to get out of the vehicle safely, but as a precaution, the children were taken to the hospital for evaluation. No other injuries were reported at the scene.
Additional footage from the scene showed a motorcycle also involved in the crash, as it rear-ended another vehicle following the initial collision. The rider of the motorcycle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
