AT&T Software Issue Resolved After Disrupting Service for Customers
Some AT&T customers experienced service disruptions on Tuesday due to a software issue. Social media was flooded with complaints from users who reported being out of service for hours. Many expressed frustration over the lack of response from the company.
One user tweeted, “Why do I have to go to Twitter to find out @ATT is having a NATIONAL outage. At least put something on the damn website.”
Another user shared, “AT&T is trying to pull a Jedi mind trick. Our phones aren’t working…. their response ‘There are no outages.’ It’s been hours; at least I have the decency to acknowledge the problem.”
In response to the issues, an AT&T spokesperson stated, “The software issue disrupted the ability of a limited number of our customers to connect to our wireless network. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate our customers’ patience as we worked to resolve this issue.”
Although the exact number of affected customers was not disclosed, AT&T confirmed that the issue has been resolved.
