Welcome to the 140th Arizona State Fair!
As the weather starts to cool down, and the scent of pumpkin spice fills the air, it can only mean one thing – the 2024 Arizona Exposition and State Fair is here! This year marks the 140th anniversary of this beloved tradition, and there are plenty of reasons for Arizonans to join in on the fun.
The fair will run for six weekends, offering a variety of musical performances, delectable fair foods, showcases, and much more. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a seasoned fair-goer, there’s something for everyone at this year’s event.
When and Where
The fair will be open Thursday through Sunday from September 20 to October 27. Gates open at 4 p.m. on opening weekend (Sep. 20-22) and 12 p.m. for the rest of the weekends. Be sure to check out the reduced-cost ticket days to make the most of your fair experience.
Admission Details
General admission tickets for adults 8 years and older are priced at $15, while children 7 and under can enter for free. Looking to save some money? Take advantage of Feel Good Fridays by Sanderson Ford, where you can receive a free admission ticket by bringing 10 canned or non-perishable food items on a Friday. Military personnel can also enjoy free admission on Oct. 11 as a thank-you gesture from the fair.
What to Expect
From animals and rides to art exhibits and musical performances, the fair offers a diverse range of activities for all ages. Check out highlights like the Great American Petting Zoo, Pumpkinferno, Native Spirit cultural presentations, and the Coliseum Concert Series featuring popular artists.

Accessibility Information
The state fair strives to make the event accessible to all guests. Wheelchairs, wagons, strollers, and mobility scooters are available for rent. Accessible parking, restrooms, and other amenities are also provided to ensure a comfortable experience for everyone.
Bag Policy and Parking
All bags are subject to inspection, and guests may undergo security checks upon entry. Clear bags are encouraged for faster entry, although not mandatory. Opt for parking in the designated lots or utilize Park N’ Ride options for convenience.
