Meet Mars, a 2-year-old dog who has captured the hearts of staff and volunteers at the Arizona Animal Welfare League. Despite his charming personality and playful nature, Mars is still searching for his forever home after spending more than 300 days at the shelter.

Mars is looking for a dog-savvy household with older adults or respectful children, and no cats. He enjoys long walks and hikes, making him the perfect companion for an active family. According to AAWL, “It’s rumored the best cuddles come from Mars!”

If you’d like to meet Mars and potentially make him a part of your family, you can visit the AAWL main shelter on 40th Street in Phoenix. His adoption fee has been waived, so there’s no better time to welcome a new furry friend into your home.

For more information about Mars and other pets available for adoption, you can visit the AAWL website here.
