Trailer Crash Slows Traffic on I-35 Northbound in Ardmore

ARDMORE, Okla. — Commuters traveling from Texas to Oklahoma may experience delays after a trailer collided with a highway sign on Interstate 35 on Tuesday. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) reported that the outside lane of I-35 northbound in Ardmore is closed due to the crash.

The OHP stated that the incident occurred when the trailer of a truck was raised while on I-35, unbeknownst to the driver until it struck the sign and was torn from the truck. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the crash.

A wrecker company is currently working to remove the trailer using a crane, but motorists should anticipate slow traffic flow on I-35 northbound in Ardmore throughout Tuesday morning, according to OHP.
