Tragic Mobile Home Fire Claims Lives in Tempe
In a devastating incident, a child and an adult lost their lives in a mobile home fire in Tempe, as announced by officials from the city fire department. The fire was contained within one residence thanks to the efforts of the responding crews.
Firefighters rushed to a mobile home park near Baseline and Kyrene roads after receiving reports of a fire. Upon arrival, they found one of the homes engulfed in flames. Assistant Chief Andrea Glass mentioned that the fire was heavily engulfing the home.
The quick actions of the fire crews prevented the fire from spreading further. Two adults and one child were rescued from the blaze and taken to the hospital in critical condition. Tragically, inside the home, one adult and one child were found deceased. Their identities have not been released, and their relationship remains unclear.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and fire investigators are looking into whether the smoke detectors in the home were functional. Updates on the investigation are expected to follow.
