Italian Restaurant in Central Phoenix to be Featured on Guy Fieri’s Food Network Show
An Italian restaurant in central Phoenix is set to make its debut on Guy Fieri’s Food Network show this weekend, bringing a taste of authentic Italian cuisine to television screens across the country.
Giuseppe’s On 28th, a beloved family-owned restaurant located near Indian School Road and 28th Street, will be showcased on an upcoming episode of “Triple D Nation,” a spinoff of Fieri’s hit show “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.”
The restaurant, known as Giuseppe’s, has a long history with Fieri as it was previously featured on “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” more than a decade ago. Owner and chef Richard Bock expressed his excitement about the upcoming feature, stating, “Our first feature on ‘Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives’ in 2009 was a milestone for us, and we’re excited to showcase how we’ve grown while continuing to offer the same delicious, authentic Italian cuisine our customers love.”
“Triple D Nation” episode titled “Flavors from Afar” is scheduled to air on the Food Network on Sept. 27, where viewers can see Fieri revisit restaurants in Atlanta, Dallas, and Phoenix, including Giuseppe’s On 28th. This episode promises to highlight the diverse culinary offerings from around the world.
Giuseppe’s is not the only eatery in the Valley to catch Fieri’s attention over the years. Several other local restaurants have been featured on his Food Network shows, bringing recognition to Phoenix’s vibrant food scene.
