Eduardo Xol, known for his role in “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” has left a void in the entertainment industry following his tragic passing at the age of 58. The reality TV personality met an untimely demise on September 20, just ten days after a gruesome stabbing incident in Southern California.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s website confirmed the heartbreaking news of Xol’s death, revealing that he was discovered in his Palm Springs apartment with severe injuries before being rushed to the hospital. The suspect, Richard Joseph Gonzales, has been arrested for attempted murder in connection to the tragic incident.

In a statement shared by PEOPLE, Xol’s family expressed their devastation over the loss of their beloved Eduardo. They requested privacy to mourn their loss and suggested making donations in Eduardo’s name to the Lupus Foundation of America, a cause close to his heart.
