Tragic Crash in Coolidge Leaves Teenagers Seriously Injured
On a fateful Saturday morning, a devastating crash occurred at the intersection of Highway 287 and Nafziger Road in Coolidge. According to the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, a 15-year-old girl is currently fighting for her life, while a 17-year-old boy sustained serious injuries.
Deputies from the PCSO responded to the scene of the single-vehicle crash after witnesses reported seeing the car being driven recklessly before losing control and rolling over multiple times.
Both occupants of the car, the 17-year-old boy who was driving and the 15-year-old girl who was a passenger, were ejected from the vehicle and airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries. The girl is currently in critical condition.
Speed and impairment are being investigated as potential factors in this tragic accident, as reported by the PCSO.
