Man Injured In Robbery in Phoenix
A man was injured during a robbery early Friday morning in Phoenix, according to the city’s police department.
The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. near 25th Avenue and Hazelwood Street, where officers responded to a shots fired call. Upon arrival, they found a man with a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Further investigation revealed that the man was the target of a robbery by two suspects, one of whom shot him during the attempted robbery.
Both suspects fled the scene before the police arrived, and the investigation is ongoing. The identities of the victim and the suspects have not been disclosed.
