Queen Creek Man Indicted for Exploiting a Minor
A shocking case of exploitation has come to light in Queen Creek, Arizona. Cody Weaver, a 31-year-old man, has been indicted on three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor following a police raid on his residence.
The investigation began after law enforcement received a tip about Weaver possessing explicit material depicting children. In late April, police officers executed a search warrant at Weaver’s home and seized several electronic devices. A subsequent report revealed the discovery of at least 13 files containing explicit materials involving children.
Weaver was arrested in June, but it wasn’t until this month that he was officially indicted by a grand jury. The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office had been waiting for sufficient evidence to proceed with prosecuting the suspect.
