Transporting students to the heart of Native American culture, Act One’s innovative approach captivates young minds with immersive experiences that bring Arizona’s history to life.
Dr. Beth Maloney, a leader at Act One, expressed the significance of using technology to bridge the gap between classrooms and historical landmarks. Through virtual reality, students are treated to 360-degree views of multi-generational hoop dancing and indigenous traditions.
During the virtual trip, Tony Duncan of the San Carlos Apache Nation showcased his ancestral traditions, enriching the educational experience for Title One students who may not have the opportunity to go on traditional field trips.
Ms. Candace Green, a seasoned educator, recognized the value of integrating technology into the learning process and praised Act One for equipping students with valuable resources and impactful experiences.
