Heroic Teens Rescue Unconscious Driver
It was a normal day for the Chaparral High mountain bike team until they became unexpected heroes during a routine ride at the Phoenix Mountain Preserve.
While waiting for their teammates to finish a bike ride, Mason Ulepic and Noah Grace noticed a car rolling to a stop in the wrong lane of traffic. Something didn’t seem right, so they sprang into action.
Ulepic peered into the car to see the driver, eyes rolled back and shaking. Concerned for her well-being, they immediately called 911 and their coach, Ken Clark, who was on the trail.
Despite being advised by 911 not to intervene, Clark, with his medical training, broke the car’s window with a rock. Grace, being smaller, managed to crawl through the window and tried to wake the unconscious driver.
Eventually, the fire department and paramedics arrived to take over the situation. The fate of the driver remains unknown, but one thing is clear – these teens went above and beyond to assist a stranger in need.
