Tragic Stabbing Incident in Phoenix Leads to Search for Person of Interest
Tragedy struck in Phoenix as 35-year-old Cisco Dennis lost his life in a deadly stabbing near a home south of downtown Phoenix. Police have now identified a person of interest in connection with his death.
On August 29, Dennis was fatally stabbed near a home in the 300 block of West Hadley Street, close to Central Avenue and Lincoln Street. The incident, which occurred just south of downtown Phoenix, prompted a swift response from law enforcement.
Upon receiving reports of a stabbing, police arrived at the scene to find Dennis with at least one stab wound. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, Dennis succumbed to his injuries.
The Phoenix Police Department is actively seeking 34-year-old Edwin Lopez, the person of interest in this case. It is believed that Dennis and Lopez were involved in a heated altercation that tragically culminated in the fatal stabbing.
Individuals with any information about Edwin Lopez’s whereabouts are urged to contact Phoenix police at (602) 262-6151 or Silent Witness at (480) WITNESS. A reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for any information that leads to Lopez’s apprehension.
