The Northern Arizona Football Team Dominates Utah Tech in Impressive Victory
In a thrilling matchup on Saturday night, the Northern Arizona football team secured a resounding 45-17 victory over Utah Tech. Led by quarterback Ty Pennington, the Lumberjacks put on an offensive showcase, amassing a whopping 560 total yards. This included 221 passing yards and an impressive 339 rushing yards.
Pennington was a standout performer, throwing for two touchdowns and adding two more scores on the ground. He completed 8 of 14 passes for 123 yards and rushed for 67 yards on nine carries. Running back Darvon Hubbard also had a stellar game, racking up 130 yards on the ground with a touchdown. Receiver Ta’ir Brooks contributed with 76 receiving yards and two touchdown catches.
Despite a valiant effort in the fourth quarter, Utah Tech (0-3) was unable to overcome the dominant performance by Northern Arizona. Quarterback Reggie Graff led the Trailblazers with 100 passing yards and a touchdown, along with 58 rushing yards. Running back Nygel Osborne added a touchdown run to the team’s score.
